Here is what arrived on May 3, 2017- my custom benchwork from Matt Hewitt!!!   In early April, He said "I only do this one way-  I build it ahead of time in my shop to your track plan and space plan, I bring it to you, I set it up."  And he said: "I don't do table tops."

I said:  "No tabletops- no order."  He said " Hmmm.  what material do you want for your tabletops??"

May 3-  He arrived, and 4 hours or so later: see pic 2.

Matt was terrific, the tables are unbelievable- you cannot MOVE them or shake them and get any movement.   Out of 26 sets of legs and 240 sq. ft. of tables- only two legs required adjustment for level.  Now I can spend my time building a layout instead of half-_____ carpenter work.   Well worth the cost to me!!!

Hi Mike,

Looking good. I like the cemetery scene, is it Lemax?

Sean

The cemetery is from a kit by O-Line Productions;  it included a LOT of plastic "wrought iron" fencing and a gate, 20 tombstones, and a "mausoleum"- really a cemetery building used to store residents-in-waiting pending the thaw of the ground each spring.  Every layout needs a place for the mortal remains of those who have departed!!!
