Can I use safely Edlmers clear glue with Protocraft decals vs what they recommend?
And instead of microsolv, a clear lacquer? There isn't a train store locally and Hobby Lobby doesn't carry it here.

Not sure what your looking to do with the glue. Just apply the decals to a glossy surface. Just blot the water off them and let them dry in place. The Micro Sol will help adhere the decal a bit better and will aid it into contouring to a non smooth surface such as rivets or a simulated wooden car. The Protocraft decals are thin to begin with. Just put the decals on and finish with a clear coat of whatever sheen your looking for. The big box stores carry Krylon and such.
