Just getting started on a new layout and wanted to find out where to acquire the RR TRack Program and relative cost. I've designed numerous layouts over the years and really just freelanced my way and was comfortable with that. I'm looking at a possible new room and just inquirng about this program.
Thanks in advance.

The MTH version is a slimmed down version. It only has MTH track. Not having used it in a very long time, I just reinstalled it so I could speak the truth about it. There are no accessory libraries except scenery. Other than that, it's a fully functional version of RR-Track. I used the MTH version for a while, and grew to like the basic program. So I upgraded to the full version, and am happy I did so.
And once again, Started with the Free version from MTH, a rather old one in fact.
Now have the Full version with many libraries.

Grades can be a pain, but I have a method worked out.
Click the piece at each end of the grade and set the height.
Select all the intervening pieces and make the grade. it tells you the grade at the time of creation.

I like the old version where I could just set the grade desired, grab a piece of track and raise it, the track would hi-lite piece by piece flowing away from the top to show how long the grade was. It allowed you to raise in whatever increment you wanted.

Remember, Grades on curves are more work for the engine, I back off the grade one degree in curves.
