A friend gave me a Lionel light signal that is dated 1917. It is 10 1/2 inches tall with a metal molded base, a metal column, ladder and two rows of lights on top. The top row are red, the bottom green. Three sides have colored lens, the fourth side is a brass plate with a door embossed on it which is held there with two small screws. There are three wires coming out the back that go to a track connector. The connector has two fiber fingers that grip the center rail and the other grips the outer rail. The two fingers that grip the center rail are about 2 1/2" apart. There ae no numbers on it except the 1917 patent date. The base is ark red and the top with the lans is cream. I haven't taken any pictures yet but wondered if and standard gauge people would know what it is. Thanks
