I am not sure this is the right spot to put this post, but I will give it a try.  I have the Polar Express R2r Lionchief set, upon receiving it brand new there was many nicks and scratches on the engine body, I got lionel to replace the engine shell under the warranty even though it was a cosmetic thing.  When i received it back from Lionel they replaced the engine shell but noticed that the steam whistle that is ontop was broken off.  I contacted Lionel and they said that they will send me a new steam whistle that I can replace myself.  My question is is this hard to do? How do i dig out the remainder of the whistle in the existing shell without damaging it?  how do i glue the new whistle into the body?
