These were advertised as a late 2019 delivery. Noticing it is late 2019, and not much has been said about this production, what news have I missed?

I'm going to make a wild guess and say that they did not get as much interest as fast as expected to go to build. They need a minimum order to meet the price price/cost targets they have projected. A small run like the Krauss- Mauffie would probably double the price. The tooling is going to cost a similar price whether you build 100, 500, or 1000. You have to amortize that cost over the number of units you build.
They did get enough orders for the PA to make the build and those are due soon. They asked for payment which is not done until they are near to shipping as I understand it.
