Great pic. Nice job. And thanks.
Department 56 also thought that theaters were a good idea. They made enough so that I have a theater "district" in our layout. Here is a sample:

Brian, Is that Hennery Higgans in the center of the second photo? Love the theatre district, your layout has so many points of interest. Thanks for sharing.
Jon, sure looks like it to me.
Thanks for your comments. Over the years, we had collected many D56 buildings. The layout gave me the best opportunity to use them effectively.
Many years ago, the President of D56 was at a meeting where I was a featured speaker. I had a chance to talk to her and suggested that she consider working with the O-Gauge train manufactures as the product had great possibilities for use on layouts. I often thought of this conversation when the D56 market started to significantly slow down. They sure could have used fresh ideas to increase market share.
The Lionel Train Shop was about the only example of a collaboration (other than the train set) and that was the result of the efforts of Allied Trains when they were in business.
The best theater I have ever seen is this one. It was kitbashed by a friend of mine. Believe it was BJ Traction kits
