A couple of you really helped me a great deal, so I thought I'd put you to the test again!

I am using 072 track due to the nature of the trains I will be running (1950's Aluminum passenger w/2343 SF engines and a freight train with the 1950 773 Hudson) and like the slow curve due to their length.

Question is, any reason I can't use the 022 switches?  I know they will "work" but the curve is much tighter.  Does anyone see an issue with that?

Thanks

O22 switches will work and they will not hit the switch covers as they were the common switch when both Outfits were produced. The 711 switch (O72) are a prewar item not made in the post war period. Whether or not you'll like the overhang on a )31 curve is up to you. If you're worried about hitting the switch motor covers you can always flip them so they are on the straight track side OR just buy Frank's and you don't get a big overhang.
