096 tubular track

Hi.

Planning a new 096 loop.how is the track measured.center rail to center rail.trying to figure out if a half loop of 096 will fit on 8ft long sheet of plywood. Very much appreciate any information.

It will just clear the edge of the plywood on the 8 ft Side and the open end will clear the 4 ft Side.
