Hi Folks,
Things at the factories and vendors we use are going smoothly. They are working so very hard to make sure everything is just right on your models. So this sometimes takes longer than we expect.
Here's what up in March 2024:
We are getting ready to put the latest offering of E7s into production, right after the SD40-2 is finished in late April.
Reservations will likely close on the E7s on April 15th. Come to our web site, review the E7s being offered and make your firm order before it's too late. http://www.3rdrail.com/reservation.html#E7
ERR Cruise M Kits are back in stock. Come order your ERR Equipment for upgrades and repairs before they run out again.

Don't forget to try to see the Total Solar Eclipse on April 8th. There is no substitute for "Totality", I highly recommend if you haven't experience "Totality" before. Find the closest location to you using the map in the link above, along this path, with clear skies being the only recommendation. Don't look at the sun until it is completely covered. Then you can watch the dancing Corona with a big black hole in the sky, and stars will also be visible at that time. Even 99% covered will burn your eyes, so use Solar Viewing Glasses until Totality occurs. It's really amazing to see in person. If you have a clear view of the sky, you can see the edges of the moon's shadow around you, as it gets darker and colder at your location. Animals begin behaving as if it's dusk, then when it's over, dawn. Videos and photos don't do it justice. When we experienced this August of 2017 in Oregon, at it's darkest, there's was a little doubt in my mind if things will really return to normal... Then they do. Hurray!!! It's truly a humbling experience. Imagine what early man thought when this was happening. Coming April 8th, from Mazatlán, Austin, Dallas, Little Rock, Indianapolis, Dayton, Cleveland, Rochester, Buffalo and on up to Maine. If you are along the Centerline of "Totality" it will last about 4 minutes. As you get closer to the edge of Totality, it's becomes more brief as this is a circular shadow running Southwest to Northeast. You want to be as close as you can to the Middle of that Circular Shadow. Everywhere else is just be a boring Partial Eclipse. Not to come again to North America for 20 years. So don't miss it.
Cheers All...
