Life won't be the same without seeing Harry in a regular basis, he was one of a kind. A testament to the number of lives he has touched is the number of people at his service, a lot of folks showed up to pay their last respects. I know I'll certainly miss him, the store just isn't going to be the same without finding Harry in the basement with a pile of parts on the workbench in front of him.
My condolences to the Henning family on Harry's passing.
I would see him at the old Hamburg Pa show or at the shop, he was always kind and cheerful.
My dad and I used to buy HO brass locos from him in the 1970's.
He will be missed by all.
Sorry to hear of his passing. I used to love visiting your store way back in the 90's when I lived in the DC area.

Harry Hennings the 3rd help me with my 256 prewar hump-back motor I think he fixed it while he was talking to me,
I told him that the 256 loco was a tribute for my father , don't know if that's why he didn't charge practically nothing to fix it, or he truly loved the prewar motor, either way I'm sure while he's in heaven he might get a chance to meet my father .. I'm sure they will enjoy each others company.

I watched the tribute on your YouTube channel recently. So sorry for the loss of your brother. I lost my last brother in March. I know that no one else can feel your pain. Thoughts and prayers for you and yours.
