Just got bit by the Marx tin bug! Picked up a prewar Canadian Pacific style 0-4-0 steam engine. It runs, but the drivers are doing the zinc pest crumble. So far the only casualty is the crank pin for the fireman’s side driver but I know it’s only a matter of time…
I’m wondering if the postwar drivers from Grossman’s shop will work? Seems like the prewar ones aren’t available? I’m not really concerned about originality, I want it to run!
