#50 Switchstand lamps from Ross Custom Switches installation?? | O Gauge Railroading On Line Forum

I would like to hear from others who have installed these fantastic switch lamps to their DZ machines. I do have the excellent article by Jim Barrett in O Gauge RRing Feb./March 2020. But one question is the cutting and shaping of the wire that would connect to the switch machines. Any other things to watch clearance wise etc. Thanks!

Trial and error.

placement is close enough to pull the lantern head. This is hard to do with the DZ-2500Cs easy with the DZ-1000s because they dont need to be powered.

So what do you suggest? Putting the lamp in place and cut the wire?
