I need to find several of the all-nation ball joint kits to replace broken ones on some used units I recently purchased. Anyone have any or a source for same. I'm also open to other suggestions. I would like to continue to use the original motor and gear boxes.
Any help appreciated.

The female part is the one that usually wears out. NWSL has a horney ball kit with the right size. I don't remember the part #.
If you can't find the "official" All Nation parts, you might check out a hobby shop that does R/C cars. Those guys have all sorts of U-joints, and ball end joints, and gears. It's amazing what you can find there.
Thanks for the information bob2 and RoyBoy. I was hoping someone might have access to the original parts or have extras they don't need anymore. I also need several of the rubber grommets used to mount the motor in the underframe.
Later this week I'll check out the suggestions given.

Leon,
You lucked out using the brass rod.
Usually you will create a short as one
truck is hot and the other ground.

Opinions abound.
I use the NWSL part on the end of a hunk of Toyota #0 hose, Plastic on metal is a much better way than brass on steel - brass is one of the poorer materials for such applications. All Nation provided a plastic tube, and others have had good luck with it.
I tie all my motors in place with aircraft safety wire, usually with a sandwich of rubber to deaden the noise.
Just to clarify, I had a broken ball joint on the motor shaft and the other half of this coupling was some type of plastic, hence no possibility of a short. This was an early A-N version before they used the plastic tube to connect the motor shaft or the two power trucks. I'd still like to find some original ball joints if anyone knows where to find them when and if my solution fails in the future. I did find the motor mount grommets at Lowes locally.
