A Real Postwar O Layout Plan

Looks to be roughly 12' x 8'.  It's a nice plan.  Plenty of routes to follow and plenty of space for operating accessories.  

Thanks for the reply Dan and I agree with your points.  I thought I would share this layout plan, that CTT revived, or none of us would have seen it.  I believe others looking for ideas for a small postwar layout would appreciate another alternative to a couple of loops and a few sidings.

I find more postwar stuff in the 80s, 90s and 2000s old CTT and OGR magazines and enjoy thumbing through them while watching sports on TV with a DVR to catch the exiting parts.  I find most of the latest magazines emphasis the newer, latest train gear, the kind most advertisers in the magazines are selling.

The magazines have to progress towards newer things for more content.  Plus the demographic of who is buying and reading the magazines are changing. Post war has been published and talked about so much.  It's still nice to see it but I'm enjoying the modern stuff.

Filed for ideas for my "downsize" layout that will be a reality one of these days. 

One pair of switches in the lower right will add a lot more flexibility to the plan, allowing trains to be reversed from either direction.

Nice. Sort of a Dealer Display type Layout on steroids.
