While browsing though some old Classic Toy Trains magazines during a boring NFL game, I found a plan for a 1950s Postwar layout that was in Model Trains magazine in November 1955. It was built by Steve Scheils Dad and enjoyed for several years. CTT ran an article in the March 2001 issue and followed up in May 2001 with a track plan (my title came from the track plan, implying it was actually built). This track plan seems to be better than most oval toy train track plans and offers interesting routes requiring some thinking and planning. I would give it a little more space and add a small $10 homemade TT and RH. You can figure out the layouts size by counting the sections of O gauge track.
