At our monthly lunch today of ham ops into tube gear, one of the fellows demo'd his new solder sucker. Unlike spring loaded pistons, or squeeze bulb types, this one operates with a solenoid that actuates the piston with a push of a button as many times as you want. It comes with tips of different sizes, his did not and is working with the sell to get his missing parts. He says on circuit boards and point to point it works very well, even with it only being 30 watts. (One of the pictures in the description, makes it look very small, it is actually about 10" overall length)
