Announcing a Vision Line Erie Triplex without white wheels

Hi Steve, quick question, will the boiler still be blue on this version? I am assuming it will be, but wanted to make sure. Thanks again for another thoughtful custom run!

Keith, it does appear that 5015 is a Russian Iron Blue version. Frankly, I'd love it if were the black version, too!

When you got rid of the white wheels, did you get rid of the ridiculous looking white ends on the cylinders?

In looking at b&w photos online, there are plenty with whitewalls, but I don't think any pictures had the white fronts on the cylinders.

Has anyone seen photos with white cylinder fronts?

Yesterday I emailed Steve about the white cylinder fronts and his response was "Getting rid of those too...".

So, Steve is selling a Triplex with black wheels, blackened side rods, and cylinder fronts that are not white.

Hooahh, as we say in the USAF.

The LCCA is offering the Triplex with all the white wheels and I assume cylinder fronts. It does look blingy! I would not want one.

We have sort of morphed the project towards this prototype photo.  NOTE:  photo removed due to copyright per TOS.

We are still thinking darkened rods and cylinder covers.
