The "Black Bird" paint scheme lives again!  Many will remember these engines as they rumbled on down the famous "racetrack" right here through Berwyn!

Note the herald on the side of the cab has "GOLD" in it and two different prototypical phrases on either side.

Hopefully the 'finished' (not the pre-production artwork) Rock engine is a truer blue than MTH's recent CP Canadian armed forces commemorative debacle.

Guess we'll just have to wait and see, won't we?  Thank goodness we are sticking with primary colors and not trying to replicate some sort of tri-color three dimensional camouflage paint scheme.  Big difference there @PH1975

Nice shot of the Burlington GP-7 in front of the Kroehler factory in Naperville. Stopped riding the Burlington to work quite a few years back, but I assume it’s still standing. I’ve ordered one of the CB&Q GP-7’s and am thrilled MTH will make it in the Premier line. Berwyn’s got this one just right!

It’s now 5th Avenue Station but still says Kroehler on the building. 5th Avenue is a combination of apartments, offices and shops.

It’s nice in that you can step out of your apartment for a 1 minute walk to get on the train which gets you downtown in 25 minutes.
