Hey All,

I have a temporary layout I setup each Christmas, and I've been really disappointed with the quality of MTH tracks.  Basically every year I have tracks that are dead, switches that break because the connectors snap.  Anyway, I'm thinking about switching to Atlas or Gargraves tracks.  It seems like Atlas is a better quality overall, but I haven't seen how I would have a track section for operating cars, which I have a lot of and the kids enjoy using.  I have both magnetic ones and cars that use the extra 2 rails such as a Lionel milk car.  How would I use those with Atlas track?  Thanks for any suggestions you have to offer!

If you look at the top of the risers you will see two holes in the top cross piece. The K-line track I use has screw holes in some of the ties, the holes near the end of the track piece has at least one that will line up with the hole on the riser. You simple use a short track screw to hold the track to the riser. The end clips for the realtrax do not interfere with track with out road bed like the k-line or atlas.

This video shows K-line supersnap track on MTH risers.
