Atlas O DRGW Trinity 5161cf Grain Hoppers

All,

To those who purchased these, is the color similar to the Atlas O Rio Grande cabooses in all Aspen Gold with the dashed Action Road herald (#7630) or is it darker. Sometimes I think that later Rio Grande paint schemes were closer to Milwaukee Road or Illinois Central Orange. I'm thinking about adding a few to my FRRX roster. Since Rio Grande never had these cars, it would be interesting to know if the Atlas paint approaches the softer Aspen Gold or Leaf of the previous caboose run. Thanks for the input.

Thanks for the replay. Of course, a picture on the Atlas website seems like a no brainer until one realizes that it is a photo-shopped picture intended to show the model in it's most attractive retail form to enhance sales. Many, many grocery stores and retail outlets use such lighting techniques. I have noted that actual appearance of Atlas, as well as MTH, Lionel, and even painted Brass products, differ under natural light, as well as LED and incandescent lighting. That is why I was actually hoping to hear from someone who has seen one of these cars in natural light and has compared them to other Atlas Rio Grande schemes.
