Hey guys; just needing a fast refresher here.

What interface cable do I need to connect a Base-1L to a DCS TIU? I suspect it is not the same one that was used with the original command base.

How about for connecting a Legacy base and a Base-1L to a TIU? I seem to recall there is a Y cable needed, but don't know the PN.

Thanks,

Rod

You need MTH #50-1032. Actually, in a pinch you can use the very first, original MTH cable, #50-1007, the one without a "box" in the cable.

You need to use the "Y" cable that comes with the Legacy set.

This and a whole lot more is all in MTH’s “The DCS Companion 3rd Edition", available for purchase from many fine OGR advertisers and forum sponsors, or as an eBook or a printed book at MTH's web store!

I have a similar question. I am running TMCC with a 400 power base.

I want to hook up DCS unit to this. When I disconnect the 400 and use the cord there's no where to hook up the 400.

Also ,can run conventional  trains with the DCS?

this is like setting up a VCR? Any help would be appreciated.

I have the TMCC / DCS cable
