I used Aileen's tacky glue on most, and then Titebond wood glue when i ran out of the Aileen's. They both worked, but I think the Aileen's is better. On some places where I had to remove the track and move the roadbed, the Aileen's had a better grip on the foam. It's only semi-permanent which makes it easy to remove and adjust if needed. Regardless of which you use, on curves you'll need to tack it down until the glue dries. The roadbed wants to slide out of position if you don't. There are some glues on the market specifically for this type of foam, but if you glue it then lay the track, the foam can't go anywhere anyway.
