This train set walked in our door yesterday. It has a clockwork 1012 steam locomotive in it. 
It needs a new spring. Any idea where we might obtain one? If all else fails, I am sure I can find a spring in my fathers clock repair parts catalogs. I am attending York next month, and will be hunting for one there too. I also need the drawbar that is attached to the rear of the cab.
The overall set, set box and track is in perfect condition. No rust, and the box is intact with little wear. I think the spring broke early in this set's life, which is why it is in otherwise such good condition.
I borrowed these two identical pictures above I found on the web. I will take a picture of the set I have and post it later. This set has found a new home in my collection and will be placed right next to my recently acquired boxed Dorfan O scale work train set. I thank you in advance!
