Bronze Bearings

The newer MTH standard gauge "Tinplate Traditions" passenger cars, including the Blue Comet cars, plus the new LCT "Showroom" cars employ bronze insert bearings in their six-wheel trucks. Better rolling quality, less frictional drag, and improved lubrication retention are distinct advantages of these bearings.

Kudos to MTH and LCT for this improvement in their rolling stock!
