I want to control the voltage output of Lionel 180 watt bricks. What do I need to do this? The Lionel TPC or it's replacement? I also will be running DCS and Legacy systems. I think I will use the bricks instead of transformers. I want to be able to run postwar engines if possible. Thanks in advance for your help.

With a TPC you can convert back and forth between TMCC and Conventional and be able to use your hand held to operate either one. ( note you can only be one way or the other, when doing so. )
You can use the Powermaster, this can also switch between conventional and command. For this you need to use either TMCC or Legacy depending on which system you are using.

Can I also use the DCS system with this setup?
Yep, I run conventional with the DCS TIU and two bricks. The Legacy PowerMaster will run them a lot more smoothly as it has a lot finer speed steps, but you can run with the MTH TIU.
