It is very difficult to get him to mail anything so your best bet is to just wait until April and have someone pick them up at York for you. Good luck.
Perhaps not relevant, but David Trickel was at York this past April, 2014. His card has an email of david@trickelcastparts.com
telephone (615) 630-1836
I've not ordered anything from David, but plan to do so in the very near future.
Information that I have received from my local collector friends, is that David Trickel will be handling the parts business and that he will be responsive to emails and phone calls.

I talked with David at York and he did say he was taking over the parts business and would answer any and all communications.

He had catalogues for sale at York.
A friend ordered from the catalog, quick delivery and excellent service. If they are still dipping the parts in acid, I rec cleaning them very well with baking soda and soap and water before painting. I had a bad experience. Seem fine after a good cleaning though...

I recently ordered several items from David.
Great service and super fast shipping. The new catalog is very nice.
I had no problems getting paint to stick (brushed on enamel or rattle can rustoleum).
I filed and sanded the imperfections and then gave them a good bath in soap and hot water and used an old toothbrush to scrub them good, while wearing rubber gloves to prevent finger oils from getting on the clean parts before painting.
I also put one light coat of primer on.
It is nice that the business is alive and well.
Repro parts are better than no parts.
FWIW Just about everything discussed here from, 12 June 2014 forward, is already posted on Google.

Hi all, I seem to remember someone telling me that David Trickel was ill and closing up shop. I hope this isn’t true! Does anyone have any information about this?
ive been in need of a replacement base for a Lionel 79 crossing signal. Can’t seem to reach David.
Contact Wyn Becker. Wyn told me today that David's shop is closed for good and that he is ill. Harry
Thanks Harry, I can’t remember who told me David wasn’t feeling well. But was hoping I was wrong.
Anyone have contact information for Wyn Becker?
Wyn had a lot of the original cast American Flyer and Lionel cast parts. He also had some really good Dorfan repro cast wide gauge trucks. I like these better than the MTH and Olsen versions which come as single pieces with axles and wheels. These look too shiney and new. Becker's are like the original Dorfans in two pieces except Wyn provides a small screw and nut to hold them together, although like Dorfan you use a 5-40 screw to attach them to the car body. I like these because you can use original wheels which look just like the original trucks. Becker also has cast wheels but they are not as good as the originals.
I missed Wyn at York although he was there.
It is my understanding that David Trickel has passed away from cancer and that Trickel Cast Parts is out of business.
Win Becker was at York, I bought some cast parts from him. Try his website
