What software program are you using when manipulating these letters? Without knowing that, there’s nothing to tell you.

Says in the subject "RR Track"(the somewhat popular software by Russ Becker, most likely - though version is a valid question - V4, v5?), but unfortunately I don't have an answer off the top of my head.

It is RR-Track V4.02. I was just making a few minor updates to my master layout drawing and wanted to re-orient some text to fit better, but software doesn't seem to allow this operation.

RR-track seems to do (almost) everything I needed. There was (to me) a long learning curve, but I haven't seen any RR software as complete as this.  And if there was, no doubt there would be no easy way to transfer my RRTrack drawings to new software, meaning I would need to re enter it  all again.  So inertia rules (A body at rest tends to remain at rest....)

just hit the  "enter" key after each letter.

Yep, that was one way, but too much work! And if multi-line text then you need to work out spacing etc to get it to look right.

Was looking for the lazy person method of rotating whole text box vertically.  Sent request to RRTrack but see it says do not support V3 or V 4, so have to upgrade to V5 for $55, and not sure if that would have the text rotation feature.  For as little as I use software now, since my layout track-work is complete, this was just exercise in detail cleanup, and horizontal text across something was not a big deal.

So 20+hours on the forum plus emails to the software vendor plus exploring benefits of a $55 upgrade in another thread is easier than hitting the enter key ?
