Christmas Tree Layout - Build Thread (4'x6')

Haha, yeah it ended up being a lot of snow.  To bond it, used WS Flex Paste on the lower left corner of the layout (outside the tracks), all of the hillside around the raised tracks, the back left cliff, back right hill, and center hill where the Christmas tree will go.  In the flat areas, I used a water/pva/alcohol mix, and literally filled the area with a thin layer.  The microspheres didn't immediately pull into the glue, so I had snowy puddles jiggle if I bumped the table.  Lol.

I would have left the footprints and made a Smilodon fossil site.

Yes, you did do a lot of scenic work. Some projects are git'er done and others you can take more time. I am the get it finished type.

The result looks good!

A second thought...now that you have the railroad, you'll get the fun back from the detailing. That's going to really make it pop!

haha, I had to google Smilodon.  Thats awesome.  The little jerk got up there while we were gone today, so this is a sabre tooth tiger heavy location now!  lol

yeah, the details will definitely be fun.  Thanks for the encouragment!  I like all those Artista figures.  those are fun!
