After watching several YouTube videos on cleaning O27 tracks, I soaked them in Vinegar (5%) for 24 hours. I then rubbed them with a Scotch-Brite pad, followed by a rinse in bucket of water and Baking Powder. Then I rinsed them with clean water in the sink. Last, I put them in the oven at 200 degrees for one hour. I notice that on some tracks, there appears to be a film of what looks like oxidation (redish-brown haze) on horizontal portions of tracks. Also, my fingers were left with some of that redish-brown residue. Should I wipe the tracks down with a soft cloth sprayed with WD-40? Any other suggestions are welcomed. Thanks!
