Comparing the Lionel 6-18296 SD80MAC with the new Legacy release

I have the 2003 issue of the Lionel CSX SD80MAC. I would like to know how the latest the body shell and details of the new Legacy model compares with the earlier 6-18296. Photos of my model are attached.

The 6-18296 includes the TMCC/Odyssey command system.
