I'm spoiled. I've been using RRTrack for almost 15 years and have steadily upgraded it. I don't mind paying for it. I know the man who created it, and it's been a ton of work to build. I just downloaded Any Rail, and while it probably works nicely, It was too high of a learning curve for me. I suppose if it's the first (and only) track layout program you will use, it will be perfectly sufficient. Anything beats drawing the layout by hand and guessing where something will go, or finding that running that O-88 curve puts the track off the edge of the table, after you've purchased all that track.

Ezmike. I have been using RailModeller for the Mac and find it to be fine for layouts. You can specif your track library and invntory etc and go from there. Drop me an email if you want more info. Don't want to hijack someone's thread
