Will Lionel or K-line tubular 027 track mate to gargraves and or ross products? do the profiles line up or does one brand need to be shimmed up to the elevation of the other?

Sure it will. You may need to shim the 027 track to match the height difference but this is easily done. There are mating pins that link the two together. I have a whole bunch of these pins if you ever need them.
Ross switches are a perfect match to GarGraves track. No special pins or shims required. I highly recommend the Ross switches.
Thanks guys. I figured there may be a transition piece or pins. I wasn't sure about height of the 027 matching the gargraves or ross. I know those track systems aren't quite as tall as the 0 tinplate tubular.
I have used Gargraves and 027 track together and all you need is the adapter pins for Gargraves to 027 track, no shims needed. I agree with Elliot that Ross Custom switches are much better then any that I have bought before Ross.
Gargraves track needs to be shimmed when using with O gauge track and please use a level if installing a switch near an O gauge Gargraves transition area.
