I have decided to build a 3 rail layout in my basement and I'm going to use all Atlas O 21st Century track. However, when it comes to the grade crossings and I think I will add 2 or 3 of them, not sure yet. I am planning to use the Lionel Fastrack grade crossing sections, the ones without lights or gates; just the plain ramp variations. Does anyone have suggestions as how to connect the Fastrack sections to the Atlas O 21st track system? Would really appreciate it! Thanks!

Since no one has replied, I will give it a try. This would be one way, maybe someone else will have a better method? I use Atlas track and switches on my layout, but I don't know a lot about Fastrack.
Atlas has rail joiners that fit up with tubular track and Fastrack also has adapters to fit up to tubular track. The Atlas adapters are just a rail joiner with a tubular pin on it and add no additional space, but I think the Fastrack adapter pieces are like 5 inches long or so. I'm not sure if they could be easily shortened or not.
One other option would be to use another type of grade crossing. I think Z-Stuff may have one and there may be others? Not sure it has roadbed like the Fastrack though, you may have to fabricate the road crossings. Woodland Scenics (and probably others) make a couple of different kits for crossings.
This is an old thread, but might provide some additional ideas.
Good pictures Dave. Those are the Atlas rail joiner adapters and Fastrack pieces I was talking about, but I didn't think about the height difference and that some shimming might be needed. Pictures are much better than the written word too.
