Melvin P,

Great Garage multi-Level layout design, not sure if you are running from one level to another with your trains or not, with your engineering it looks as if it could be done.  If not you might consider a little more space between the levels to view your trains a little better.

I like the Conventional Tin Plate Track and old 072 type switches, looks like it could be a great Tin Plate Train running layout for sure!  Keep a close eye on your RealTrax Switches!

Great start, but I am not sure what we are seeing here. Are you building a covered layout?

Hi Rod, the lower level is finished.  It will  be a locomotive storage area only.  The upper level will be the operating, scenic  level.  There will be a connecting track between the two levels.

Hi Dave, Lower level will be locomotive storage, not really for operating.  There will be a connecting track between lower and upper levels.

The hardest thing to do is start. You got that out of the way. Looks like it is going to be a layout with a lot of train action. Watching for more post of the building...............Paul

Hi Paul, as things progress I will post.

Is that two rows of wall switches lower on the platform?  What will they control?

Hi Tom, the wall switches control power to the various storage tracks on the lower level. The upper row of toggle switches control the track switches.
