Hi all!

Wanted to share with you the latest addition to the TW Trainworx "Classic Landmark Series In The Style Of" series. This newest model is of the historic Denver Union Station, found in the mile high city of Denver, Colorado. The flyer we had at the Rocky Mountain TCA meet last weekend is attached below. This station is really impressive! We are currently accepting orders for 7 more stations at the introductory price shown on the flyer, then the price will revert to the suggested retail price.

There are over 550 parts required for this structure and 200 man hours to assemble and decorate! This is the first in the series to include an interior as well. The station measures 36" long x 16" wide x 18" tall. It is one very impressive structure (we will have it on display at our Layout Festival in Dallas on April 1st if you have to see it in person?)

Some specs on the Denver Union Station;
* Every station is hand built by our Traingineers in Dallas, TX (US Made)
* No two stations are alike! ("custom")
* Interior LED lighting with power transformer
* First station in the series with a detailed interior
* Each model includes a signed and numbered certificate of authenticity
* Limited production of only 66 pieces.

If you are running the California Zephyr or a Ski Train this station would be right at home on your layout!

I'll be posting more photos of the station next week, showing all the details this impressive structure has to offer! (resin cast lion head canopy supports, super detailed overhead canopy, removable roof (to add figures to the interior benches) and the impressively captured architecture)!

Don't miss out on the opportunity to own one of these very custom stations!

Hope to see you at the TW Trainworx Layout Festival on April 1st! Http://www.trainworxfestival.com

Best!
Mike

The reality is custom built structures are very expensive in any scale, in HO FSM typically sell for 300 +/-for the kits alone depending on the complexity of creating the parts, assembley and painting the labor hours can really add up, I believe the Dunham Studios Quechee Gorge Layout is at least 10 months into construction with a number of talented people working on it, labor like that is not inexpensive. Just saying, clearly the market for these models is very small. JMO

Humm...juss checkin' the math....200 hours @ let say $15.00 per hour plus 500  pieces at a ridiculous $1.00 apiece;  This borders on a loss leader.

Just because it may not fit into one's budget has no bearing on it's value.    I have installed two other Trainworx stations.  These things are a work of beauty.  This one may very well be the best so far.

Mike, any chance it might be available as a false front for the acreage impaired?

Hi all,

Thanks for the comments! Yes, these stations are one of a kind, each and every one of them! You really need to see this station in person to appreciate its size and appearance. Very impressive structure to say the least. The model makers in the shop have done an amazing job with this structure and Roger did a great job of compressing it enough to fit O gauge layouts without sacrificing the "look and feel" of the prototype!

As promised last week, here are few more photos of the station. Hope you enjoy!

Best,
Mike
