Hi,
Did the New York Central Railway have a LOGO of the same or of a similar style as the New York Fries Logo ?
I would like to cover over the LIONEL " L " logo at the rear of a LIONEL Tender.
Thank you,
Norman

Joe is correct, ..no they sure didn’t….let’s see a pic of what you’re working on for a proper solution,…

Yes, they absolutely did. It still exists as a matter of fact. It is above the archways, on the front of the New York Central Building, 230 Park Avenue, NY, NY, that lead to the circumferential driveway that goes around Grand Central Terminal.
On the buildings, yes, what Skip replied is correct, but as far as motive power, or rolling stock, Ive never seen a logo like that ……..if you’re working on the back of a tender, it was standard NYC practice to put the cab number on the back of a tender……

Had to look up what NY Fries is, annnnd, it’s a Canadian fast food chain, with outlets in many foreign countries, very big in the Middle East, but, somewhat ironically NEW YORK Fries does not have a single outlet in the USA!

Thanks Mark for clearing that up......joe
Hi Guys,
That is absolutely hilarious that New York Fries IS NOT a New York City based Company !!!
Here in Canada, all of us Canadians just assume that NYF started out in New York City as a Family One Store Operation !!!
Mr. NYC FAN,
Can you help me have OTTAWA BRASS , here in Ottawa, Scribe myself a Circular Brass Plate to cover over the LIONEL Circular Logo on the Rear of a LIONEL Tender ?
I realize that this is not prototypical, but this is Tinplate World and I really like your graphic !
What is this missing image ?
