Morning fellow fomites: (It's Saturday morning here in the land of OZ)

Saw this advertised on "that" auction site, and just wondered if it actually does improve the signal of the DCS Remote.

" These get connected to the track when using MTH DCS for clearer increased signal from the dcs remote to your engines."

Is it worth getting, as I exclusively run my MTH PS2 and PS3 loco's using the DCS Remote system.

Not sure what actual transfer of control function this is helping with, but from what it looks like in the package, it is reminiscent of grade school science project flashlight bulb ceramic lamp holders such as these, now made out of plasticc:  https://www.amazon.com/Luckyci...ories/dp/B07PZ163M6/

If these somehow enhance signals, then get these along with appropriate size lamps, and guessing they have to be incandescent, not LEDs:

And build a bunch of them.

These incandescent lamps add a small amount of inductance to the DCS signal path. That tends to balance out the overly capacitive nature of the network, allowing the signals to propagate better. They’re similar to the “Magic Lamps” we used to sell at OGR. Early versions of DCS benefitted from this and signal propagation was improved.

I don’t think the current version of DCS needs this.
