Your layout work is inspiring. I wish you liked the modern stuff more but I enjoy everything. A good layout tells a good story. Yours is rich in history and great at telling it's story.
really fantastic especially those trees.
Looking Great!!!!
Oh my! That is some first-class modeling. Eye candy.
Outstanding Work Pete!
Dear wbg.pete,
Aside from the excellent scenery, my prime interest is in the (?Baldwin?) Consolidation ahown in several of your photos;
What gauge is it (On3 or On30?)
Is it Brass import?
My reason for asking is I am modelling QGR 3'6", 1920s-1940s; in the late 1870s, QGR bought several Baldwin locos ( 4-4-0, 2-6-0, 4-6-0 and 2-8-0, in several cylinder sizes) these lasted to the mid 20s.
Before venturing into complete scratch building in brass,( other QGR designs), I would like to try Regauging any On3 or On30 Similar Baldwins to On42. My workshop is equipped for such fine work ( gunsmithing and obsolete Cartridge case making).

Well done! I especially like the On30 track work and ballasting.
Pete,
Wonderful work. Such lush and realistic views of the layout. I'm now headed to my train room.
