Got the motor working and the reverse unit. Now to take it back apart and reinforce the cracks and fix the headlight.

Thanks for sharing, Steve. It's not too often that you see one of those actually running. Are the motor/running gear parts original?

Time to break out the Bondo and JB Weld and polish up your auto body skills.

Yes, it's all original. I will replace the missing rear dummy light eventually. The drivers do show some fatigue, but if I do not over do it, they should last quite a long time. I now have 3 running original O Dorfans, 2 clockwork steamers and this no 52. I also have a red 51 that "runs" but draws too much current and pops the breaker. That one has a near perfect casting.
