I forgot to ask how thick is the ply you cut the vertical frame sections from?

Those photos show 23/32" (3/4") shop grade Birch/Maple. The same thing could be built with 15/32" also called 12 mm Birch multi ply.
All the straight cuts were cut with a table saw or chop saw. After all the straight cuts are made then the curvatures were laid out with what ever shapes were convenient to me. I use a french curve with station marks so I can replicate similar curves on multiple pieces.
It seems to me, the more comfortable the grip the better the control would be.

I'd say grip comfort and tight quarters access. Choose a quality saw and good blades, especially for curved cuts.
The one tool for cutting repeating shapes not mentioned yet is a router with a template following bit. Cut and smooth the first template, and the router bit creates the CNC look from multiple rough cuts.
