Working on wiring up some switches with Ross switches and DZ1000 machines using the rix rax flat under table mounts. Attempting to get the working so far has been trouble some. In the video, I've tried adjusting the fulcrum and the pivoting arm position with no luck. Very little movement of the switch points. I've found a few threads about using these mounts and one member did get an atlas switch with a DZ1000 and a flat mount to work. Any ideas?

I have never worked with the Rix Rax, but the operation seems to be similar to a Tortoise machine.   I would take the Rix rax and switch,  mount them on a test piece of wood and experiment with the size of the hole below the switch. The hole you have looks very small for the wire to move fully. Also make sure the subbase does not interfere.  For Ross and Gargraves switches you need about a half inch hole beneath the switch.

I have all Tortoise switch motors. Not familiar with Z Stuff but the principal is the same. As Marty stated. The hole has to be large enough to allow it to move it’s full travel. You have the hole already drilled. I’d get underneath and lengthen the hole out with a Dremel and carving bit. Drilling it bigger you run the risk of damaging the throwbar with a slip of the drill.  Rather than make the hole larger in diameter. Just elongate it  to follow the travel of the switch machine.
