Is there software into which I can enter my already existing layout? I’d like to have professional looking pictures.

I realize that I can simply take a photograph, but I wanted something more nuts and bolts.

Check out SCARM. Many Formites use it, The "free" version supports a limited number of track sections but is otherwise the same as the paid version.

For Windows:
SCARM with a 100-piece free version.
AnyRail which I believe also has a 100-piece free version.
RR-Track with several options for purchase.
X-TrackCAD free open source.
I’ve heard about 1 or 2 others, but only in passing and don’t know anything more other than no one seems to use them.

For Mac:
RailModeller Pro.

I’m not really sure what you’re looking for when you say “professional looking pictures”, but you can research them all to see if any meets your needs.
