Has anyone used this system from woodland scenic before SubTerrain Lightweight Layout System . I was reading about it and saw the video and it looked cool specially the risers. i am planning to make my first temporary layout and this seemed to be a quicker and easer way. any thoughts, experiences..

I plan to use it on my layout. I'm using Lionel Fastrack and since the risers are made for HO I plan to place two sets side by side on the incline section. The rest of the elevated sections will be on pink foam. I purchased a set of 2% incline and discovered I didn't have the length of track needed to elevate the track six inches where it crosses over itself. Each section is 24" long. I just ordered a couple 4% incline sets that will give me the rise I need in the length of track.

Please share your experience as how it worked. i didnt realize that it was for HO. Thanks for pointing that out
I expect to pick up my order on Saturday. The width of each riser is two inches. I think I will have about a half inch of riser on each side of the track. Once I get it installed and tested for fit I plan to cover it with plaster cloth and slope the sides. I'll post pictures when I get started.
Here's a update. I picked up my order from Modeltrainstuff on Friday the 23rd of November.(MBKlines) I have 90% of my benchwork completed. I have been working on the double track mainlines fitting a couple crossovers and testing the fit. I did hook up power to the track and test ran a locomotive and a caboose all the way around to where the track crosses over and it worked well. I haven't had a chance to work with the risers yet. Maybe I can try later this week. I have marked the track locations and plan to drill holes for the power drops. Install the risers and retest the fit. I'll post pictures later.
