My wife got me an early Christmas present! FAM big boy. It’s an amazing model! Just got it in today. No layout to run it on- meant to be a display piece in my study. It doesn’t have any manuals or docs with it.
1) Does anyone have a manual or know someone who does who can help me out?
2) It comes with the original display board- not pictured - no rollers- annd no glass cover. I might want a rolling display- sources? Or at least a cover that fits the display base?

It’s better than the pics. It has presence. The details are amazing. I’m pretty pumped with it. The big boy is my favorite engine (well that and the N&W J)- super pumped.

You can find some very nice oak- or walnut-based display cases (acrylic cover) on eBay from a company in Illinois.
Would be nice to have a custom roller base, covered display case made for this beast to permit stationary operation. This beast coming to life (Lights, sounds, ACTION)...albeit even stationary...would be the super-ultimate display of this treasure, methinks.
A whistle button to announce 'Happy Hour' would be a nice touch!
Whatever you choose for the final display, please update this thread with a photo...and video, maybe?
