Hey, its already September 1st!
Its a new month, and I'm happily awaiting recent Tinplate purchases. My trains are working, so life is good!
Today I decided to pulled out my little blue/silver 312 Observation that's been socked away since my wedding last May. I set it on a piece of track to make a "pretend" siding, near the wedding scene on my layout. I need a bumper! Still thinking about creating an upper circle somehow to showcase this little wedding vignette on the layout.
Yesterday I did the same at the opposite end of the table, pulling out and setting my olive/navy TCA cattle car on a piece of track, just to get the chance to see it and enjoy it. It has been patiently waiting for some freight car friends to arrive to create a consist, so it can get some run time. What a trooper.
