??? GarGraves 108 unloading/uncoupler track issues

I have the GarGraves 108 unloading/uncoupler track. The unloading portion works great. However, as for the uncoupler, several of my MTH cars do not uncouple - wonder if the magnet is not strong enough to pull down the pin or if the distance between the magnet and pin is higher than others. Most all my Lionel work fine - haven't really check everyone I have.

I have 18-20 volts to the track controller as is recommended by GarGraves. Really don't want to crank up the power.

Anyone else have this issue?
