I would love to see some single level SF cars made to make a El Cap/SC combo or a rerun of the 51-53 SC!!!

Talk about customer service!!!  That just doesn't happen today.  It's the closest thing I've heard to the days when JLC could call over to Lionel's NJ factories from his office in NYC to get things done at a moment's notice.  And I thought those days were gone FOREVER.

And I will add my complements to Scott as well for his First Class communication with his customers and prospective customers. Having an open line of communication directly with the top Mann provides customers with an added level of confidence in what they are purchasing and is very much appreciated. 

You know, about that super chief, I'd have to get me a set of those if a guy remade them. Id also have to get me some a doze F-units i keep hearing so many great things about too. Remakes aren't a bad thing. Give us guys who missed the party another go around on the tilta-a-wallet ride

Thats exactly what I'm doing with my extra cars. Even the correct drum head on the rear. With 4 powered.F7s

Do post pictures and or a video when you finish that up. 

As much as I'd like to see a re run of the 51 super chief, I'd be more interested in a 5 car set of a 1938 capitan or a 1938 San diegan. I'd even go for an upgraded 1938 super chief or a prewar chief.

I have placed orders with you on your web site and e-mailed orders to you.  The only reply from you said you would pass it along to someone else.  Do you or your people have the time to send confirmations to your customers?  I would surely like to know if I am on your list or if I fell thru the cracks.  I realize you are very busy with the production end of the operations, but is their someone I could contact in CA to confirm that I am on your list.  I would not be happy if in 2017 you told me you had not received orders from me.  I receive confirmations for large $ orders from other state side dealers.   I may be nik-piking but then again that's me.

WOW! That was even lower than the Last time! I am gonna print out this thread!

Mark, I've got three Amtrak add on cars coming. Along with two SF chair cars. 

If you wanted one of the transition cars the time to ask was many months ago when the off chance possibility of getting one could've been added to the production run.

As I'm not sure if I have proper clearances to run these cars on my layout, could someone tell me what the height is (from the top of the rail) of the Hi-Level cars?  Thanks!
