If you has a layout with roadbed, what adhesive have you used to attach it to layout base. I currently have 1/2 " foam attached to plywood ( would have used homasote next time ) . I am now ready to attach road bed and lay track what did you use if you are going to dense foam?

Try "Titebond" professional wood glue. It sure worked for us, as virtually EVERYTHING was glued together with Titebond, and then I removed all the screws from the legs and benchwork, including the Vinyl Bed road bed. Even the Atlas O track was glued down to the Vinyl road bed, without any screws.
Place your track down on the foam exactly where you want it to be. Slide the cork roadbed under the track and mark the foam at the edges of the cork. Remove track and glue roadbed to foam using yellow carpenter's glue such as Titebond. Hold in place using foam nails until glue dries. Track screws to secure track to roadbed.
