It has been a while since I hand laid my first Layout in O-Scale 2-Rail and about to start on my new 10' x 23' Layout.

I have used Kappler Ties in the past and found them to be of good quality.  I have a few hundred of the original stock but find them to be 7" x 9" x 9'0".  This measures out at .160" x .190 x 2.25".  This in now obsolete.

The closest available today would be .146" x .188" x 2.125".  So the sizes have changed.  However, my ME flextrack is 2.25" long.

I would imagine that the best way to purchase Kappler, would be online directly.

In addition, I want to build my own switches.  I am assuming that Right-of Way would be the best choice, but see that they went out of business and wonder where to obtain rail plates, and insulated and non-insulated rail joiners?

Any comments or idea's on sources would be appreciated.

Thanks...
