Hi all, I was wondering if any of you better skilled layout planners would mind tweaking my 6x9 for some more action. I've hit a little bit of a block and haven't gotten any further than this and I'm not completely happy with it. Thanks

Thanks joeceleb, however I can't see the track radius listed in the picture
Outer loop is O54...inner loop is O45....Atlas O Track.....
FWIW RCARD86. Your layout dimensions remind me of my first O layout on a 9 x 5 table I built. I had a single loop with one siding on the long side but the curved part of the siding switches were installed further into the turns and were part of the loop which made the straight come out at a 45 degree angle instead of straight if that makes sense. Its a matter of taste but the affect was more pleasing to me because the turn into the siding had that straight part of the switch between two curved pieces of track. I also had a reversing loop basically extending from where you have a short stub siding. I think Joe's design is really neat. and you can see the way the switches are oriented that I tried to explain.
Sorry for reminiscing RCARD. I am not suggesting anything for your design necessarily, but remember that I enjoyed the action of the reversing loop and switching was a lot of fun. I ran an MTH consolidation with 3 freight cars and a cabin car and it worked well with o36 atlas track. Hope you work out your design.
